Amendments to Restrictions

posted 14 May 2021, 11:58 by Little Elms Pre School

As you are all aware, the Government is lifting some restrictions from Monday the 17th May.  We have always followed these guidelines and will continue to do so.  The only change we are making on Monday is that staff do not have to wear masks all day in Little Elms.  They will continue to wear a mask to answer the door(and so will parents please) ,and to carry out personal hygiene duties with the children.  We will then start to introduce other lifting of restrictions with regards to play equipment, sensory items, soft furnishings etc after the May half term break.  Our cleaning practices will continue as they are, and our consideration for the well being of your children and our staff will still be our  priority.

Welcome Back !!

posted 19 Apr 2021, 03:18 by Little Elms Pre School

We welcomed back all of our children on March the 8th for 3 weeks before the Easter break, and now we are back for a full term!! It feels like the children haven't been away as they have all settled into their rooms wonderfully.
We have some new staff members Sapphire, Beth and Kate who we are thrilled to have as part of our Little Elms family team.
We are currently raising money for Addenbrookes C2 Ward which is the children's Cancer ward.  They are treating a very special boy - close to our hearts - at the moment.  We also have members of staff who have had had previous support from this ward.  Please feel free to look at our Just giving page if you would like to make a donation.

Update on re-opening

posted 15 May 2020, 03:12 by Little Elms Pre School

Dear Parents
A quick note to update you.  You will be aware of possible plans to open settings no earlier than 1st June 2020.  We at Little Elms are working with Suffolk County Council LEA to come up with a plan for re-opening.  As yet we do not know how many children this will be for or when this will be possible. If and when we open we will have to approach the way we organise our day in a very different was.  we will endeavour to keep you updated when we know more from county and the Government as to how this can be achieved safely for our families and staff.
