Breakfast Club

At Little Elms we accept bookings for our Pre-School children and children attending Elmswell Primary School. We are open for breakfast from 7.45am- 8.45am.

Children attending Elmswell Primary school will be taken to school by our staff ready for the start of the school day.

Cost: £5.50 for session

The menu for breakfast club consists of:

A choice of apple, orange juice, milk and water
Cereals
Toast with various toppings

Children with specific dietary requirements and allergies will be catered for - please ensure details have been completed on the necessary forms to ensure we are able to provide an appropriate alternative for each session.

Pre-School

Little Elms is a sessional pre-school that offers quality early years education and care for children aged 2 - 4 years.

Morning Pre-School Session

8.45am – 11.45am
Cost: £7.00 per hour

Afternoon Pre-School

12.15pm – 3.15pm
Cost: £7.00 per hour

Little Elms has two separate rooms Lady Bird room and Bumble Bee room. Lady Bird room is for children aged 2 years – 3 and a half years and Katie Moss is the room leader. Bumble Bee room is for children 3 and a half years – 4 years and Hazel Jermyn is the room leader.

Key person

Each child is assigned a key person, our key person system gives each member of staff particular responsibility for just a small group of children. Each child in the setting has one special adult to relate to, which can make settling into the group much easier. The key person maintains links with parents through shared record keeping (e.g. Tapestry) to ensure that all children are supported in reaching their full potential.

The Pre-School Day

Within the group, all children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace. Our key worker system enables us to ensure a planned curriculum tailored to needs and interests of each individual child. By means of developmentally appropriate play activities and a high level of quality adult interactions, we offer a curriculum which enables children to progress towards the early learning goals throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage. The pre-school, school nursery and reception class all work towards the Early Years Foundation stage with a basis being learning through play.

Lunch Club

Pre school Lunch club runs between 11.45am and 12.15pm.

Cost: £3.25

Children will need to bring a packed lunch that contains a cool pack inside to keep the food fresh in the warmer months.

After School Club

We run an after school club for children aged 2 to 11 (up to primary year 6) from 3.00pm – 6.00pm Monday -Friday in Term Time.

School aged children will be collected from Elmswell Primary School at 3:00pm by our staff.

Cost: £6.00 per hour
Sessions can be booked hourly or to the nearest half hour.

A snack is offered from 3.30pm onwards, this consists of biscuits, fruit and squash.

Holiday Club

During the school holidays we run a holiday club between the hours of 7.45 am and 6.00 pm. Holiday club is available for children from 2-11 years (up to primary year 6).

Minimum booking for holiday club is 3 hours.

Cost: £6.50 per hour
or full day (8 hrs plus) £55.00
Sessions can be booked hourly or to the nearest half hour.
10% discount off total bill for siblings.

Holiday club runs very similarly to after school club. We have planned activities and lots of equipment available to entertain the children including
